Ryan and Isabelle first crossed paths at an FFA conference in Washington, D.C. in 2016, despite growing up eight hours apart. Their shared passion for agriculture and faith laid the foundation for a lasting connection. After heading off to college at University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Northwest Missouri State University, they reconnected over their mutual love for agriculture, faith, and the importance of community. They both worked on their Master’s of Science in Agricultural Education at Northwest Missouri State University and got married there in July of 2021.
In 2023, Ryan and Isabelle moved back to Bowling Green, Missouri with their Border Collies, Sandy & Willow to start a new adventure.
Their upbringing in agriculture-rich environments deeply influenced their business venture, which aims to support rural leaders and create a more equitable food system. Isabelle’s farm background and Ryan’s involvement in FFA, coupled with their agricultural education, inspired them to begin offering education, and eventually, open a storefront for local farm products.
With a shared love for Jesus as their guiding light, Ryan and Isabelle prioritize love and community in their personal and professional lives. They find inspiration in biblical verses like Matthew 22:37-40 and 1 John 4:19-21, reminding them of the importance of loving God and loving others. Their belief in the power of community stems from their rural upbringing, where they witnessed the strength of fellowship and the presence of God wherever people gather in His name.
